In a press conference, Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fighting terrorism. He stated that surrender is not an option and that the country will not succumb to radicalism, extremism, or intolerance. Despite the recent loss of six soldiers in a gun battle, PM Kakar emphasized that Pakistan will never forget its martyrs or stop making sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

The Prime Minister also praised the joint efforts of the military, civil administration, and locals in a recent rescue operation, where eight people were saved from a cable car accident in Battagram.

During a meeting with businessmen in Karachi, PM Kakar urged the business community to share their blessings and engage in dialogue. He encouraged them to avoid tax evasion for the collective benefit of the nation. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of listening to each other’s perspectives and working together to bring about positive change.

The government’s economic strategy includes taxing individuals and using those taxes to provide for the underprivileged. PM Kakar acknowledged concerns from the business community, particularly regarding electricity and gas issues, promising to address them.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of consistent and secure energy supply for industrialization. He emphasized the need for heavy industrialization to boost the economy and lamented the lack of start-up companies in the country.

PM Kakar pointed out food security issues faced by people living in the Indus Basin, attributing it to collective inefficiency. He urged the nation to keep the government’s limited responsibilities in mind and remain vigilant until the new Parliament is elected and a smooth transition takes place.

Despite the challenges, Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar expressed determination to continue the fight against terrorism and work towards a prosperous and secure Pakistan.
