Jerusalem: A mass grave has been discovered at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, containing the bodies of patients, hospital staff, nurses, and doctors.
According to Al Jazeera, a large mass grave was discovered at Al-Shifa Hospital, Gaza’s largest hospital, which had been under Israeli military control for two weeks.
There are concerns that during those two weeks when the hospital was under Israeli military control, patients may have died or been killed and buried in the same place.
Doctors at the hospital have reported that the bodies of patients, nurses, and others have been found in the mass grave, some of whom have been identified and marked.
Hospital staff have stated that most of the bodies found were patients who were admitted to the hospital for treatment during the Israeli occupation, when all medical facilities were shut down by the Israeli military.
In addition, in the northern strip of Gaza, under piles of dirt and sand, an additional 20 bodies have been found. It is believed that these deaths occurred when people were passing through a checkpoint and were targeted by the Israeli military.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that at least 11 people, mostly children, were killed in an Israeli attack on a refugee camp in central Gaza. Several others were injured as well.
Furthermore, in the eastern area of Gaza City, Israeli forces attacked a police car, resulting in the deaths of 7 police officers and 9 police personnel.
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza has condemned the attack on the police car by Israeli forces and has demanded an investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
