The collaboration between Bayern Munich and coach Thomas Tuchel will come to an end at the conclusion of the current season, the club announced on Wednesday. Despite having a contract through 2025, Bayern has struggled in their last three games, falling behind in the Bundesliga and facing potential elimination from the Champions League. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen stated that there will be a new direction with a new coach for the 2024/25 season. Tuchel, who has had previous coaching experience with top clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Paris St Germain, and Chelsea, expressed that he will focus on achieving maximum success in the remaining games of the season.
