The social mass grave found inside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza has resulted in the discovery of unidentifiable corpses of 49 individuals. According to a report by Wafa News Agency, rescue and ambulance teams found another social mass grave inside the hospital during relief efforts on Wednesday, from which the bodies of 49 individuals were recovered.
After this mass grave, the total number of social mass graves found around Gaza and the hospital has reached 7. Three mass graves have been discovered at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, three at Nasser Medical Complex, and one at another hospital, with a total of 520 bodies recovered.
Local sources report that rescue operations at Al-Shifa Hospital are ongoing. Rescue workers believe that most of the bodies found are of patients who were admitted to the hospital for treatment, while others may be their relatives.
It should be noted that Israeli forces had seized control of Al-Shifa Hospital for several months following attacks on Gaza, during which the Palestinian authorities expressed concern that massacres may have been committed during that time.
