Could Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon of war in Gaza be prevented?

The United Nations food agency has made the difficult decision to suspend aid deliveries in northern Gaza due to safety concerns. This move, while necessary for the safety of its teams, leaves hundreds of thousands of Palestinians at risk of famine. The situation in northern Gaza is dire, and there are concerns about whether Israel’s offensive is contributing to a war of starvation. To discuss these issues further, we are joined by Shaina Low, a communications adviser for the Norwegian Refugee Council in Palestine, Nebal Farsakh, a spokesperson for the Palestine Red Crescent Society, and Sara Pantuliano, Chief Executive of ODI, a humanitarian policy think-tank.
