Both Senators Sarfraz Bugti and Senator Prince Ahmed Zai have resigned from the Senate after their successful election in the Balochistan Assembly constituencies.
Former Federal Minister of Interior Sarfraz Bugti submitted his resignation to the Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, which was accepted by him.
Senator Prince Ahmed Zai of the Balochistan Awami Party also resigned from the Senate after his victory in the provincial assembly seat.

Sarfraz Bugti and Prince Ahmed Zai will take the oath as members of the Balochistan Assembly.
It should be noted that Sarfraz Bugti defeated Gulraiz Bugti of the PTI in PB-10 constituency of the Balochistan Assembly by obtaining 52,485 votes, while Gulraiz Bugti received 25,773 votes.
Prince Ahmed Zai defeated Sardar Ahmed Khan Shahwani of JUI in PB-46 Quetta constituency by obtaining 4,638 votes.
