Karachi: A unique event unfolded at the 18th Sindh Games, with bodybuilding champion Amin Imtiaz becoming the sole recipient of the gold medal.

According to Express News, during the Bodybuilding Championship event at the Sports Board Complex as part of the Sindh Games, no bodybuilder weighing over 85 kilograms from across the province participated except for Amin Imtiaz from Karachi. Imtiaz was declared the winner, receiving the gold medal. Silver and bronze medals remained unclaimed. At the 18th Sindh Games, Karachi Division emerged victorious.

The province’s fastest man, Janid Baloch, and female athlete Sabeenaz each secured three gold medals. In the women’s category, Hina and Imen from Karachi won gold, while Amna and Ayesha from Larkana, Fatima and Amina from Benazirabad, and Hasna and Arisha from Hyderabad each won silver and bronze medals respectively.

Karachi clinched victory by winning seven gold medals and claiming the Josto Championship, with Hyderabad coming in second and Sukkur in third place. Hyderabad Division won the Judo Championship with four gold medals, while Karachi Division secured second place with one gold and three silver medals.

The four-day Games will conclude with a ceremony at the PIRCO Coaching Center on Monday, where the 4×100 relay races and the finals of the men’s and women’s events will take place. Chief Minister Sindh Ghulam Qadir will be the special guest at the closing ceremony.
