A suspect involved in targeting and threatening police officers has been arrested in Lahore by law enforcement authorities. The suspect has links to the Khurasani group. The arrest of the main suspect, Faizan, was carried out in Lahore’s Bhatta Chowk Alfalah Town area. He is a resident of Badami Bagh and has affiliations with the banned terrorist organization Daesh’s Khurasani group.
During the arrest, a motorbike, three pistols, clothes, and gloves used in attacks were recovered. The suspect has been handed over to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for further investigation. It has been revealed that the suspect has been previously incarcerated for involvement in terrorist activities.
