Rawalpindi: In a horrific incident of murder in the area of Chontra police station, the attackers opened fire on people riding in a car, killing 5 people including 2 children. According to details, the police revealed that the targeted attack was successful in causing the criminals to flee, and it was due to an old enmity. According to the police, 46-year-old Master Mohammad Aatif, 27-year-old Shujaat Younis, and 8-year-old Anabia were killed in the shooting, while three injured were taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, where 12-year-old Tabinda Fatima and 41-year-old Mohammad Zaheer received treatment, and 8-year-old Falak Sher was severely injured.
According to the police, the family members traveling in the car were going to appear in court for a pending murder case in Chontra police station when the criminals Naeem Sultan, Sher Ali, and others opened fire with Kalashnikovs and other rifles.
The police spokesperson said that IG Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani took notice of the incident and directed SSP Muhammad Naveed to reach the scene with a heavy force and apprehend the criminals.
