The rescue operation in northern India has successfully brought ten of the 41 trapped construction workers to safety after 17 days in a collapsed tunnel. The workers were reached after hours of drilling through rock, concrete, and mud. Officials are hopeful that the remaining workers will also be rescued in the next two to three hours.
