3 motorcyclists killed in Karachi after collision with dumper

Karachi: Near the Super Highway Toll Plaza, a dumper truck collided with motorcyclists, resulting in the death of 3 people and one person being severely injured. The injured and deceased were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and rescue officials identified 28-year-old Ahsan and 27-year-old Zohaib as the deceased, while the severely injured 2 individuals were transferred from Abbasi Hospital to a private hospital on Stadium Road where 40-year-old Zeshan succumbed to his injuries, and 45-year-old Shahzad is receiving medical attention and is in critical condition. Both individuals were riding on a motorcycle.

SHO Gadap City, Zawar Hussain, mentioned that the accident was caused by a fast-moving dumper truck, and upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, arrested the driver, and took the dumper into their custody.

According to the police, the deceased Zeshan and the injured Shahzad were residents of Nazimabad No. 2, and Zeshan was the owner of a pet shop in Liaquatabad. The deceased Zohaib and Ahsan, who were riding on another motorcycle, were residents of New Karachi Sector 5 and were on their way home from work when the accident occurred. There were 3 people on the motorcycle, and the third person, who was driving, miraculously survived the accident and is Zohaib’s uncle.
