105 tons of aid for Gaza residents reaches Egypt under the service provided

A total of 105 tons of relief goods, including 45 tons of ready-to-eat food, 30 tons of tents, 25 tons of medicines, and 5 tons of blankets, have reached Egypt in a sixth consignment for the affected people in Gaza under the umbrella of the Edhi Foundation.

The relief goods were brought to Egypt Airport from Karachi Airport via a special plane and will be transported to Gaza through the Rafah route.

The departure ceremony for the relief goods was attended by Pakistani ambassador for Palestine Ahmed Rabei, President of Edhi Foundation Pakistan Dr. Hafizur Rehman, Vice President Aijaz Allah Khan, Director of Edhi Karachi, and other officials, including NDM representatives.

Dr. Hafizur Rehman, President of Edhi Foundation Pakistan, said that the Edhi Foundation, NDM, and Pakistan Air Force (Shaheen Airport Services) have worked together to send a sixth consignment, including 45 tons of ready-to-eat food, 30 tons of tents, 25 tons of medicines, and 5 tons of blankets. He also announced that next month, Pakistan Navy will send an additional 400 tons of relief goods to the affected people of Gaza through the sea.

He further stated that the Pakistani government and people stand with the Palestinian brothers and sisters in this difficult time and will continue to support them. The Pakistani ambassador for Palestine thanked the people of Pakistan for their ongoing relief efforts.
