LAHORE: After a video surfaced showing a child being chained and subjected to violence, the suspects have been arrested.

Upon receiving 15 calls, SP Akhlaq Allah Tarar ordered Inspector Qamar Abbas for the immediate arrest of the suspects and recovery of the child. Following the orders, the police took action and arrested the two suspects who had chained and subjected the underage child to violence, and successfully recovered the 12-year-old.

According to police officials, the suspects, shopkeeper Farooq and Adnan, have been arrested. In the video, it can be seen that the suspects have chained the underage child and were inflicting violence.

The arrested suspects are being charged for keeping the underage child in servitude, wrongful confinement, chaining and subjecting to violence, and an investigation has been initiated against them.
