Saher Lodhi, a well-known host and actor in Pakistan, said that he is proud to be associated with the renowned TV show host and scholar late Amir Liaquat Hussain, and he visits his grave every day.

Recently, Saher Lodhi participated in actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where he discussed his career, social media trolling, and various other topics.

In the podcast, Saher Lodhi talked about social media trolling, saying “I have never paid attention to criticism, and similarly, I ignore trolling with grace.”

Saher Lodhi said, “It doesn’t matter to me if someone says bad or wrong things about me, criticizes me. But once critics abused my 2-year-old daughter, which did not affect me but made me hate social media.”

Speaking about the late scholar and TV show host Amir Liaquat Hussain, Saher Lodhi said, “I met him 15 days before his passing and when he passed away, it didn’t seem real to me, it felt like I had lost my brother.”

He continued, “Amir Liaquat was a very good friend of mine. I know things about him that no one else knows. I have seen people distributing money to him, and I visit his grave every day.”

“I have always been proud of two people in my life, Amjad Sabri and Amir Liaquat Hussain, both were true humans and my best friends,” Saher Lodhi said.

Speaking about the criticism against Amir Liaquat, Saher Lodhi said, “We are all human and everyone makes mistakes somewhere. But when someone does something wrong, we start thinking of ourselves as good and then begin judging others for their mistakes, as people did with Amir Liaquat.”

He added, “People said many wrong things about Amir Liaquat, we should not speak ill of others because we all make mistakes.”

It should be remembered that Dr. Amir Liaquat Hussain was found dead in his home in Karachi on June 9, 2022, and was taken to the hospital where his death was confirmed.
