Bangladeshi youth identified as 24-year-old Jalil and 23-year-old Yasin were killed by Indian Border Security Forces as they crossed the border. The bodies of both young men were taken by the Indian border security forces. The incident occurred in the village of Tetulia in the Panchagarh district of Bangladesh, near the Indian border, where residents mostly work in agriculture and livestock farming.

These residents often mistakenly cross the border while grazing their livestock, becoming targets of the Indian border firing. On the other hand, the Indian Border Security Forces claim that in these areas of Bangladesh, smuggling of livestock is carried out illegally across the border. It is important to note that more than 8 Bangladeshi villagers have been killed by Indian border firing in the past year, despite efforts to address the issue through diplomatic channels.
