During the hearing of 9 May cases in Lahore, the special prosecutor completed his arguments, in which he declared Imran Khan as the central accused. The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore heard the bail requests of Imran Khan in various 7 cases of agitation and sit-ins on May 9, where special prosecutor Rana Shakil declared the founder and chairman of PTI, Imran Khan, as the central accused of the May 9 cases.
During the hearing, special prosecutor Rana Shakil completed his arguments in the case of torching the Prime Minister’s House, stating that the founder of PTI is the central accused. Witness statements are available. The founder of PTI called on all leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to torch military installations. Special prosecutor read out the statements of witnesses in court.
The court inquired whether the founder of PTI tweeted incendiary messages instigating people to attack government institutions, to which the special prosecutor confirmed that there are numerous tweets and messages on Instagram. The founder of PTI incited people to take to the streets.
It should be noted that the court has directed the appearance of the founder of PTI via video link from jail and has also requested evidence from his lawyers. There are 7 cases filed against the founder and chairman of PTI, including the torching of Jinnah House and Military Tower.
