National team captain Shahid Afridi expressed his views on Babar Azam’s poor form. Speaking to the media after the unveiling of the T20 series trophy against New Zealand, Shahid Afridi said that we have 17 matches before the ICC T20 World Cup in which we want to try different combinations so that we have a good bench strength for the mega event.
He said that there is no difference from one or two innings, he is one of our best batsmen, every player goes through such a time, but the players are supporting him.
The national team captain gave a humorous response to the question of the decrease in bowling speed in the Test series against Australia, saying that he was amazed to see his bowling speed during the match, why is 130 kilometers per hour being recorded on every delivery.
He said that he was feeling tired due to the extra overs in the initial two Test matches against Kangaroos, due to which the team management let him rest.
The captain of the T20 team further said that we could not achieve the results in the ICC events that our nation expects, we will try to control our mistakes and win the trophy for the country.
