PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has called for PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif to provide a “city and date” for a public debate after Shehbaz responded to Bilawal’s challenge by suggesting a comparison of Sindh’s state instead. Bilawal has been actively criticizing the PML-N during his election campaign, prompting responses from the PML-N’s leadership. Bilawal had previously proposed a debate with PML-N’s Nawaz Sharif before the February 8 general elections, citing the importance of transparency for an informed electorate. In response, Shehbaz suggested an inspection of Sindh instead of a debate. Bilawal then demanded the “city and date” for the proposed debate. He reiterated his willingness for both a debate and a comparison between the development and infrastructure of Sindh and Punjab.
