The police in the city of Quaid, Karachi, conducted an operation and arrested two suspects involved in inter-provincial drug smuggling, seizing a haul worth over fifty million rupees. According to details, the Sukkan police arrested two suspects in an operation, which led to the recovery of a high-quality ice worth more than fifty million rupees. SSP Malir Tariq Mastoi directed the SHO of the Sukkan police station, Zabeer Nawaz, to carry out the successful operation with the police team, resulting in the arrest of two key operatives of the notorious drug smuggling group. The two arrested individuals, Muhammad Rafique Barohi, son of Fazal Mohammad, and Khalid Hussain Abbasi, son of Noor Hussain, were apprehended near the jetty in the Rehri Goth area. The arrests led to the recovery of 745 grams of high-quality ice worth more than 50 million rupees. According to SHO Sukkan Zabeer Nawaz, the suspects initially revealed that they were associated with an inter-provincial group of drug smugglers, bringing ice and other drugs from Balochistan to the Rehri Goth and then planning to transport them to the coastal districts of Thatta and Keamari through the launch. The seized drugs were intended to be handed over to the drug sales group at Keamari Bandar in order to be transported back to Balochistan via Balochistan. Other accomplices of this group would bring drugs from Afghanistan through the Chaman border and distribute them in provinces including Balochistan and Sindh. According to the suspects, they had been involved in this illicit trade for the past two years and this was their first arrest.
