Australia’s batting continues to chase Bangladesh’s target in the World Cup

In pursuit of Bangladesh’s target of 307 runs in the 43rd match of the ICC World Cup, Australia scored 12 runs at the loss of one wicket in three overs. Playing the match at the Pune Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh had set a target of 306 runs on the loss of 87 wickets in the prescribed 50 overs. Prior to the game, Australia’s captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to field first, saying that he wants to reach the semi-finals by achieving success in the match. He said that two changes have been made to the team, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc have been replaced by Steve Smith and Sean Abbott in the playing XI.

On this occasion, Bangladeshi team captain Nazmul Hassan Shanto said he wants to achieve success in the last league match against Australia and return comfortably. He said that three changes have been made to the team, Mehidy Hasan, Mahmudullah, and Nasum Ahmed have made a return, while Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam, and Shakib Al Hasan have been given a rest.
