Australia secured an eight-wicket victory over Pakistan in David Warner’s final Test match in Sydney, completing a 3-0 series sweep. Pakistan added 47 runs to their overnight total before being dismissed for 115, as Warner, in his 112th match, bid farewell to the format. Warner, alongside childhood friend Usman Khawaja, led the charge, with Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan and Aamer Jamal putting on a partnership of 42 before falling to Nathan Lyon and Pat Cummins. On the previous day, Josh Hazlewood’s three wickets brought Australia close to victory as Pakistan ended the day at 68 for seven.
