Arrest of highly-wanted ‘Target Killer’ affiliated with banned organization in MQM worker’s murder

Karachi: Police in the PEI colony area of the city took action and arrested a worker of the MQM involved in target killing connected to a banned organization.
According to details, the PEI Colony police arrested the target caller of the banned organization, identified as Maqsood Pathan son of Abdul Karim.
The police stated that the suspect was wanted in multiple cases of murder, as well as being a fugitive in one case.
According to the police, the suspect was previously arrested in 2005 for involvement in the target killing of MQM worker Asif, and in 2014, CTD police also arrested him for terrorism cases from Rawalpindi.
In 2017, the suspect, along with Shahid aka Laddu and 2 others, planned to kill a builder but was unsuccessful. During the confrontation, Shahid aka Laddu was killed, and Maqsood Pathan was arrested in an injured state.
