During a visit to Tamiwali in Bahawalpur, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa watched field exercises and was received by the Corps Commander. During his visit, he was briefed on the purpose of the exercises and emphasized the need to improve skills to deal with future challenges in operational environments. General Bajwa also met with troops participating in the exercises and urged them to continue serving the nation with traditional enthusiasm and passion. He expressed his confidence that with the support of the nation, the armed forces of Pakistan would defeat the country’s enemies. Additionally, he also observed armored, mechanized infantry, artillery, air defense, and anti-tank guided missile exercises during his visit.
