Munir Elahi has not been included in the investigation, NAB’s position: File
The accountability court in Lahore has placed Munir Elahi on the wanted list in a corruption case involving development projects.
Accountability court judge Naseem Ahmad Waraik, acting on NAB’s request, issued an advertisement order against Munir Elahi in the case of embezzlement of over a billion rupees and kickbacks in development projects in Gujarat.
The court directed NAB’s investigating officer to submit a detailed report on Munir Elahi’s movable and immovable properties within 15 days.
The court initiated action to freeze the properties under the 88 CRPC after requesting the record of Munir Elahi’s properties.
NAB had filed a request regarding the issuance of an advertisement order against Chaudhry Munir Elahi.
