During the past four days, a total of 21.6 million children in Punjab received polio drops as part of an anti-polio drive. The final day of the campaign was on Friday, with over 2 lakh polio workers participating. The target was to vaccinate more than 22.5 million children, and the data from the campaign is currently under review. In Lahore alone, 14,000 workers went door-to-door to administer polio drops, and the head of the Punjab Anti-Polio Programme, Khizr Afzal, stated that all district officers supervised the campaign themselves.
