Karachi: National Airline (PIA) has paid 40 crore rupees to Pakistan State Oil as part of the remaining dues of 1.5 billion rupees as fuel charges.
After the restoration of the account by the FBR, PIA has made a payment of 40 crore rupees to PSO on Friday out of the remaining 1.1 billion rupees in dues.
According to sources, PIA was required to pay 1.5 billion rupees to maintain its credit limit, and it still needs to pay an additional 1.1 billion rupees to fulfill the limit.
PIA authorities are required to provide the company supplying the fuel with an early demand list for fuel supply.
