Islamabad: After a decrease in crude oil prices in the international market, the government has reduced the prices of petroleum products.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been reduced by 14 rupees per liter for the next fifteen days, while the price of diesel has been reduced by 13.50 rupees.
According to the notification, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced by 10.14 rupees per liter and the price of light diesel oil has been reduced by 11.29 rupees per liter.
The new prices will come into effect from midnight and will remain in effect until midnight on December 31.
The new prices are as follows: the price of petrol after a decrease of 14 rupees is 267.34 rupees per liter, and the price of high-speed diesel after a decrease of 13.50 rupees is 276.21 rupees per liter. Similarly, the price of kerosene oil after a decrease of 10.14 rupees is 191.02 rupees per liter, while the price of light diesel oil after a decrease of 11.29 rupees is 164.64 rupees per liter.
