Washington: According to international news agencies, US Foreign Minister Antony Blinken reached Palestine after Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Israel on an important Middle East tour where he met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on the establishment of a stable and independent Palestinian state and discussed possible steps in this regard on which both parties agreed.

In his talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, US Foreign Minister Antony Blinken expressed full support for the establishment of a free and independent Palestinian state, saying that he stands with you on all matters related to it.

In response, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his gratitude, saying that our position has always been that the Palestinian conflict can be resolved through a two-state solution.

However, President Mahmoud Abbas expressed concern that Israel would refuse to transfer tax funds to the Palestinian Authority, even though it is part of the Oslo Accords.

In the meeting with the US Foreign Minister, President Mahmoud Abbas emphasized the urgent need to release Palestinian clearance funds.

It should be noted that since October 7, this is the fourth visit of the US Foreign Minister during the Israel-Hamas war, in which he has had separate meetings with all parties to address the issue of the settlement of the Palestinian issue.
