Pakistan all-rounder Aamer Jamal recently discussed his teammate Babar Azam on Instagram.
During an interactive session with fans on Instagram, a fan asked Jamal to describe Babar Azam in one word. He replied with a “King” emoji.
Teammates and overseas cricketers have consistently referred to Babar Azam as “King” due to his prolific batting style.

Aamer Jamal played alongside Babar Azam in the three-match Test series against Australia, where he finished with 18 wickets and 143 runs. In contrast, Pakistan’s former all-round captain scored 126 runs at an average of 21 in the same series.
Both players were part of the Pakistan squad for the five-match Twenty20 International series against New Zealand. Babar Azam scored 213 runs at an average of 42.60 and a strike rate of 142.00, while Jamal featured in two fixtures and took one wicket.
The star batter is currently representing Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024, where he has scored 120 runs off three games at an average of 60, with two match-winning half-centuries and a highest score of 62.
