A civilian murder mystery unfolds amid the criminal resistance in Style Town

Karachi: A property dealer was killed in a firing incident by unknown attackers in the area of Steel Town, police have labeled the incident as a personal vendetta while rescue officials are reporting resistance to robbery.

According to details, a person was severely injured in a firing incident by unknown motorcyclists near Gulshan-e-Hadeed Arcade in the Steel Town area. The injured person was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment where he succumbed to his injuries without responding to treatment.

Later, the body of the deceased was taken to Jinnah Hospital for legal proceedings, where the victim was identified as 56-year-old Pervez Ahmed son of Noor Mohammad with the help of his identity card found in his wallet.

Rescue officials have stated that the incident involved resistance to robbery. In this regard, a resident of Steel Town, Ghulam Hussain Pirzada, mentioned that the victim was riding his 125cc motorcycle when he was shot with 4-5 bullets. Police found 30 bullet casings at the crime scene.

They further stated that money was found in the victim’s pocket and his motorcycle was also present at the crime scene. Initial investigations suggest that the incident appears to be a personal vendetta, however, police are conducting a thorough investigation on all aspects.

According to police, the victim was a property dealer and a resident of Steel Town, with ancestral ties to Mirpurkhas.
