A case of the death of 6 people from the same family in an accident has taken a new turn. The plaintiff Rafiqat Ali has filed another request against the underage driver. During the accident in Defense, the plaintiff Rafiqat Ali has alleged that the underage driver Afnan deliberately hit the car, intending to kill all the people in the car.
Police have initiated interim action upon receiving the request and the investigation of the case will be conducted under the provisions of murder. It should be noted that the 16-year-old driver Afnan, who killed 6 people in a car accident in Defense three days ago, turned out to be a student of the 8th grade. The police have obtained a video statement from him in which he confessed that the car was running at a speed of over 100.
Now instead of issuing tickets to underage drivers, traffic police have decided to file a case against them. According to Lahore Traffic Police, in the future, instead of issuing tickets to underage drivers, FIRs will be registered, and as a result, those with criminal records will not be eligible for government jobs, will face difficulty in obtaining visas, and will be deemed criminals for the rest of their lives. An appeal has been made in this regard that parents should fulfill their responsibilities and never allow their underage children to drive.
