During the first 5 months of the current fiscal year 2023 (July to November), the government has received a total of 4.28 billion dollars in external funding. According to the details released by the Economic Affairs Division, the government received 4.28 billion dollars in external funding in the initial five months. This amount represents 24% of the annual target of 17.61 billion dollars, with Saudi Arabia making 2 billion dollars in time deposits. Additionally, Saudi Arabia also provided a 50 crore dollar facility in oil deferred payments, and a total of 40 crore 74 lakh dollars were received from overseas through the new Pakistan certificates. Furthermore, 78 crore 66 lakh dollars were received from global financial institutions, with an estimated 5.33 billion dollars expected from international financial institutions in the current fiscal year. Other countries, including China, France, Japan, and the United States, also provided 8 crore 30 lakh dollars in funding.
