Karachi: The Pakistan Business Council has said that the new government will have to negotiate with the IMF on the 24th program first.
The newly elected government will have to negotiate with the IMF on the 24th program first, the IMF program is long-term aimed at reforms, not like short-term conditions like in the past program.
This has been mentioned in the pre-arranged agenda for the newly elected government after the success in the elections.

It has been said in the Council’s agenda that Pakistan is fighting for its survival and there is no expectation of help from anywhere. By taking more taxes from taxpayers, it will be easier to achieve the revenue target by increasing energy rates.
It has been said in the agenda that the purpose of the new program is to make deep reforms in the energy sector, reduce inefficiencies, and profiling of loans is essential for restoration of confidence.
