The annual report of the Al Khidmat Foundation has been released. According to the report, Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan spent 21.49 billion rupees on agricultural work in 2023.
The report also highlights the services provided to orphaned children, students, patients, emergency disaster relief, and other sectors. Services were provided to 2.5 million individuals, and 67,000 beneficiaries were provided relief to 625,000 affected people through 39 disaster management centers.
During the year, the disaster management sector provided food packages and tents to 30,840 affected families. The health sector of the foundation spent 7.5 billion rupees annually, providing health facilities to 1.221 million people through 52 hospitals and 50 medical centers in 2023.
The foundation is also providing care to over 29,000 orphaned children in 22 orphan centers and homes. It has also provided 436 million scholarships to 5,269 deserving students.
Assistance was also provided to 3.936 million individuals from various classes, including prisoners, disabled individuals, minority communities, and 14,000 people were provided interest-free loans of 43 crore rupees for businesses.
