Karachi: The city of Quaid may experience warm and dry weather over the next 3 days, but there is no possibility of a heatwave. According to the Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Center, today the temperature could reach a record high of 39 degrees, while tomorrow (Tuesday) it could exceed 40 degrees.
Over the next few days, the northwesterly winds from Balochistan will continue to affect the city, with sea breezes potentially calming down during the morning to afternoon.
The humidity levels in the city remaining between 20 to 30 percent will prevent the feeling of excess heat above the actual temperature.
It should be noted that the key factors in a heatwave include continuous cessation of sea breezes for 3 days, temperatures exceeding 40 degrees, and humidity levels rising up to 65 percent.
