Pakistan’s Cricket Team Rises to 11th Place in World Baseball Rankings

Lahore: Pakistan has moved up eleven positions in the World Baseball rankings.

According to Express News, the World Baseball and Softball Confederation has released a new ranking in which Pakistan has come in 38th position with 155 points.

Recently, in the Asian Baseball Championship held in Taiwan, Pakistan had performed remarkably well and secured the fifth position. Due to this performance, Pakistan is the only team to have gained eleven positions.

In the new rankings, Japan is in the lead, Mexico is second, and America is in third place. South Korea holds the fourth position and Taiwan is in fifth place. Traditional rival India is in 61st place.

President of the Pakistan Baseball Federation, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, expressed happiness at the significant improvement in the global rankings, saying that there is a lot of talent in baseball in Pakistan.

He said that in the Asian Baseball Championship, Aman and Mashraf from the national team showed remarkable performance. They have been demanding a separate ground for baseball for a long time.
