The PML-Q has accused the PML-N of not honoring the seat adjustment formula and has decided to go solo in the Feb 8 elections. The PML-N had initially decided not to field candidates against Chaudhry Shujaat’s sons, but the Q-League was irked when the PML-N only decided not to field candidates against those two candidates. The PML-Q leaders immediately broke the electoral alliance with the PML-N. There are concerns about the award of tickets for the elections, but the PML-Q had not finalized its candidates for the national and provincial assemblies’ constituencies.
