Hajj Operation Begins in Pakistan, First Flight Departing Tomorrow for Madinah Munawwarah.

Islamabad: The first flight for Hajj 2024 from Pakistan will depart tomorrow for Madinah Munawwarah. According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the flight operation for Hajj 2024 will continue from May 9 to June 9. The first Hajj flight from the federal capital Islamabad will depart for Saudi Arabia at midnight tomorrow.
During the first 15 days of the Hajj operation, all flights will directly land at Madinah Munawwarah airport, after which from May 24 to June 9, most flights will land at Jeddah airport. On the first day of the flight operation, 11 flights carrying 2160 pilgrims will depart for Saudi Arabia.
From Islamabad, 3 flights will carry 680 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. From Karachi, 2 flights will carry 330 passengers to the holy city of Madinah, while from Lahore, 3 flights will carry 670 passengers to Saudi Arabia for the obligatory Hajj.
Similarly, from Multan, 2 flights will carry 329 pilgrims to start their Hajj journey. One flight from Sialkot will carry 151 pilgrims to Madinah Munawwarah. The first Hajj flight from Quetta will depart on May 11, and the first Hajj flight from Sukkur will depart on May 27.
In total, more than 68,000 government pilgrims will reach Saudi Arabia through 259 Hajj flights. The Hajj flight operation will be completed on June 9, and the first flight will bring the honored pilgrims back home on June 20.
