Die-hard fans of Shahrukh Khan in Pakistan who were disappointed about not being able to watch the blockbuster movie ‘Jawan’ in theaters can now rejoice. The film, which has been dominating the box office for two weeks, is now available for streaming on Netflix worldwide, including Pakistan.

Not only that, Netflix viewers will be treated to some additional scenes that were originally removed from the theatrical release to maintain a reasonable duration. These scenes will now be included in the OTT (over-the-top) version of the film. The runtime for the Netflix version will be approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, compared to the theatrical version which runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Furthermore, the acclaimed director Atlee Kumar is working on a new cut of the film specifically for an immersive viewing experience on OTT platforms.

‘Jawan’ marks Shahrukh Khan’s pan-Indian debut and features an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjay Dutt, Deepika Padukone, and Eijaz Khan. The film was released globally on September 7 and has already crossed the 900-crore mark in worldwide collections across different languages.

With its massive budget of INR300 crore, there are even talks about ‘Jawan’ being considered for the Oscars.
