Islamabad: Great news for the national income sector, the government has decided to provide uninterrupted gas supply to new and old industries.
Minister of Commerce and Industry, Gohar Ejaz, said that the difference in the supply of local and income gas has been eliminated for new and old exporters.
According to the government decision, under the tariff scheme, a decision has been made to provide gas supply to new industries as well. The supply of gas to new industries has been halted for two years under the tariff scheme.
Gohar Ejaz said that with this government decision, the production capacity of income sectors will increase by 100 percent and it is expected that there will be an increase of $3 billion in the national income through the supply of gas.
