Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, former foreign minister, criticized all political parties except the PPP for engaging in the “politics of hatred and division.” This statement was made during two PPP rallies as the February 8 general elections approach. Bilawal has been campaigning across the country throughout the month, addressing party workers and supporters in Badin. He emphasized the PPP’s belief in the power of the people and stated that the party had prepared and presented its manifesto to the nation. Bilawal also outlined his 10-point agenda if PPP wins the polls, focusing on issues such as poverty, inflation, unemployment, and hunger. He took aim at the PML-N, criticizing their lack of an election campaign and manifesto, and accused them of relying on conspiracies and ruling the people. Bilawal also alleged that the PML-N had a hand in the misallocation of electoral symbols to PPP candidates. He urged the public to vote for PPP and promised to change the fate of the country if the party came to power. During another rally in Sanghar, Bilawal once again attacked the PML-N, vowing to abolish redundant federal ministries and allocate the savings for the people’s welfare if he were elected prime minister.
