Karachi: In the parking of Shaheed Abbas Hospital in the Nazimabad area of the city, a woman gave birth to a child in a rickshaw.
According to MS Dr. Naseem of the hospital, the work of decorating and arranging the maternity ward has been ongoing for three months, so the patients who are registered are examined in the OPD and are referred to Sobhraj or other hospitals. However, this patient came to the hospital for the first time.
MS Shaheed Abbas Hospital informed that the mentioned woman is from Orangi Town, and as soon as her husband informed the hospital’s OPD, Dr. Samira from the maternity ward went to the parking with the staff and successfully delivered the child, as there was no time to transfer them to a room.
Dr. Naseem stated that the mother and child are healthy and both have been sent to the Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad.
