Asif Zardari and Sardar Sher Rind face off

According to unofficial results, Asif Ali Zardari of PPP secured 146,989 votes in NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad, followed by PTI-backed independent candidate Sardar Sher Rind. Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah of PPP won NA-201 Sukkur-II with 120,219 votes. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of PPP, also emerged victorious in NA-154 with 131217 votes.

The General Election 2024 concluded in a peaceful manner with active participation from voters of all age groups. The polling started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm without any break. The Election Commission of Pakistan reported over 128 million registered voters scheduled to cast their votes for candidates participating in elections for national and provincial legislatures.

The polling was held for 265 seats of the National Assembly and 590 seats of provincial assemblies. Voting took place on 51 seats of the Balochistan Assembly, 128 out of 130 seats of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 296 out of 297 seats of the Punjab Assembly, and 130 seats of the Sindh Assembly. The polling was conducted in 855 constituencies out of 859, with exceptions due to the death of candidates in NA 8, PP 266, PK 22, and PK 91.
