Arrested individual accused of selling drugs to students in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Reports from the Excise Department suggest that a suspect has been apprehended for allegedly selling ICE – Crystal Methamphetamine – drugs to students in Peshawar.

According to excise officials, the arrested individual, identified as Basit, is accused of supplying ICE drugs to students in various universities and hostels in the city. The excise department also seized 2,000 grams of heroin and over 1,000 grams of ice from the suspect.

In a separate incident, the Sindh police successfully detained a female interprovincial drug peddler at Yousuf Goth bus terminal, Karachi. SSP Arif Aslam Rao stated that the apprehended individual, named Shazia, is involved in distributing drugs across multiple provinces in Pakistan. The police confiscated 2 kilograms of crystal meth from Shazia’s possession and have filed a case against her.
