The PTI has obtained a majority in the national and provincial assembly seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where candidates have been successful from Chitral, Abbottabad, Swat, Charsadda, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, Khyber, and Bannu.

To form a government in the province, 73 seats are required in the assembly, and according to unofficial and non-governmental results, the PTI’s supported 76 independent candidates have been successful.
