Karachi: Celebrated actor and author Kamal Ahmed Rizvi’s 8th death anniversary is being celebrated today. Actor Kamal Ahmed Rizvi was born in India in 1930. Kamal Ahmed wrote many memorable dramas and also excelled in directing, creating children’s literature, and translating. He ventured into the film industry but did not succeed, however, the famous TV drama series “Alif Noon” brought Kamal Ahmed Rizvi to the peak of his fame.

He showed the essence of his art in the theater and TV dramas, including “Mister Satan,” “Half-talk,” “Blindly,” “The End of Kingdom,” “Julius Caesar,” “The Lost Man,” “Travelers of Dreams,” “Miss B. B. Ghulam,” “The Thief Made Noise,” “We Are All Crazy,” and “Your Sincerely” are included. Kamal Ahmed Rizvi also wrote children’s literature, and he had a special relationship with actor Nanna. On the TV screen, both considered each other indispensable and innocent. When the time for this drama came, the rule of sannoate was seen on the streets.

85-year-old Kamal Ahmed Rizvi had adopted seclusion to some extent due to the delicacy of the arts, but often suddenly showed his presence in literary gatherings. Kamal Ahmed Rizvi also managed several famous digest offices. Despite illness and old age, he would enliven the gathering with his special phrases.

Kamal Ahmed Rizvi had type 2 diabetes. He suffered a heart attack during treatment on December 17, 2015, which proved fatal. His passing closed a chapter on literature and humor writing.
