On Monday, November 20, 2023, the war between Ukraine and Russia entered its 635th day. The main developments included the Ukrainian army pushing Russian forces back as far as 8km from the Dnipro river in the southern Kherson region. The United Kingdom’s defence ministry stated that there were no major changes in the front line. Russia launched several waves of drone attacks on Kyiv, causing air raid warnings. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy demanded swift changes in the operations of Ukraine’s military and imposed sanctions on 37 Russian groups and 108 people, including two former Ukrainian top officials now in Russia.
