Israel’s sustained offensive against Gaza continues, with nearly 24,000 Palestinians killed and over 60,582 wounded since October 7. The conflict, which has reached its 100th day, has seen Israeli tanks and aircraft targeting southern and central Gaza, resulting in intense fighting and communication and internet outages.
The Gaza health ministry reported 125 deaths and 265 injuries in the past 24 hours. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh praised the initial attack on Israeli communities, citing it as a response to the blockade of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected calls for a ceasefire, vowing to achieve complete victory over Hamas.
The conflict has also led to violence in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and on the northern border with Lebanon. In the midst of the war, displaced individuals like 17-year-old Nana from Rafah are demanding an end to the war and compensation for the psychological toll of displacement.
