Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, has revealed that lawyers have rented rooms at the Quetta Municipal Plaza and are paying a monthly rent of only 55 rupees. According to details, the Chief Minister visited the Circular Road parking plaza and in a media briefing, disclosed this information and requested lawyers to pay the rent for the rooms according to market rates.
The Chief Minister stated that if the provincial or municipal government takes action against the lawyers, they will be taken to court the next day. He further said that they will resolve the parking issue in Quetta and also open a hotel on the plaza’s roof so that people can sit there and generate revenue.
Jam Kamal Khan mentioned that on the first day of taking oath, he directed the Commissioner to activate the parking plaza. The Circular Road parking plaza has generated significant revenue within a month, prompting plans to build another parking plaza in Quetta city.
In response to a question, he said that during cleanliness drives, tires are being removed from sewer lines, and it is also the responsibility of the citizens not to throw waste in the sewerage lines.
