Texas: A couple found a lost diamond ring on the coast of Texas and returned it to the owner. According to American media, the diamond ring that was lost on Galveston Island in Texas was returned to its owner when a couple found it buried in the sand.
The woman, Daisy Maldonado, said she was exploring Galveston Island with her family when she suddenly realized that her engagement ring was missing from her finger. She immediately informed the Galveston Island Treasure Hunters Club on Facebook so that metal detector enthusiasts could help locate the ring.
The Facebook post led Scott Pierce and Clyde Langworth, two members of the club, to bring their metal detectors to the beach to search for the ring. However, before they could locate it, another couple on the beach had already found another ring.
It was only 15 minutes after Kelly Breignac and her companion arrived at the beach that they saw a partially submerged fish trap in the water. When they pulled it out, they found not only seashells but also a diamond ring among the debris.
The couple had already seen the ring with their metal detectors near the Facebook group members Pierce and Langworth. They brought the ring to both of them, who contacted the woman and returned the precious diamond ring to her fingers.
